It doesn’t have to be Shabbat to have a Shalom! See what we did there? The Shalom features Orange juice, vodka and a new piece for us, madeira. If you don’t know (we didn’t) Madeira is a wine hailing from Portugal. Madeira’s unique taste comes from the process of repeatedly heating the wine. This repetitive process creates a wine with flavors of roasted nuts, stewed fruit, caramel, and toffee.
Pairing Madeira with other spirits and mixers yields a lot of fun combinations! In our research we found one called Breast Caresser (or Bosom Caresser for you fancy folks)!
So grab some Madeira and enjoy the Shalom!
