I will put Carolina beaches against just about any beach in the world. They are pristine stretches of white sand, some have wild horses running free, legends of pirate’s gold, and world class fishing. They also see their fair share of storms.
Hurricanes roll through here almost like clockwork, keeping framers, and carpenters busy all the time. We are going to head on down to one of our favorite Carolina beaches, and get some well deserved Rest and Relaxation, so this week’s post will run a theme. Anyways one thing the locals know is how to throw a hurricane party, so when the winds start to blow your gonna need a strong drink to batten down the hatches with, may I suggest the Category 5 Hurricane:
Category 5 Hurricane:
1 oz Bacardi® light rum
1 oz Captain Morgan® spiced rum
1 oz Myer’s® dark rum
1 oz Southern Comfort® peach liqueur
1/2 oz grenadine syrup
4 oz orange juice
4 oz pineapple juice
1/2 oz sweet and sour mix
1 oz Captain Morgan® spiced rum
1 oz Myer’s® dark rum

1/2 oz grenadine syrup
4 oz orange juice
4 oz pineapple juice
1/2 oz sweet and sour mix
Shake ingredients in a cocktail shaker with ice. Pour into glass.
