A Drink to Wake the Dead

OK this drink supposedly was made to revive a patron who was DOA of a hangover. It was so popular it was even served during the 1939 World’s fair.   A Tiki bar staple, it started the bartender mantra “When in doubt, make it strong and red”.

Ladies and gents, go stock up on a slew of rum, and fruit juices, and make yourself the original  Zombie.

It might just save your life.

  1. And to think I always took a pass in the Zombie because I didn’t want to die! Trader Vic’s in Chicago claimed their Zombie was so potent they had a two-Zombie limit. Miss Trader Vic’s.
