I don’t know if y’all know this, but BBQ is kinda a big deal down here. Whether it’s vinegar, ketchup, or mustard based, there are strong opinions, but when it comes to eatin’, you are hard pressed to beat Lexington style BBQ. Sweet, but tangy, usually just the butt, but you may find a whole hog, and ringed in smoke, we are talking good eats.
This Saturday, Lexington brings together some of the best from all over the state. This year marks the 35th festival. The festivities feature 200+ art & craft exhibitors, seven stages of entertainment, 50-ton pig-themed sand sculpture, antique car show, and so much more!
If you head there early, on the 26th, you can take part in the Pre-Pig Shindig at Childress Vineyards. Enjoy food, beverages, and live music by The Lilly Brothers and The Ultimate Eagles Tribute-On The Border!
